| Eligibility
for Attending Trainings |
| A clinical background is
a prerequisite for the effective application of EMDR treatment.

| Attendance at the training
workshops is limited to mental health professionals who are
qualified or certified to provide treatment in the mental health
field. This includes all the core professions of psychiatry,
psychology, mental health nursing, occupational therapy and
social work with mental health training. General Family Practitioners
who have completed counselling/psychotherapy training are also
able to attend the trainings. Psychotherapists and counsellors
need to be accredited/approved by UKCP or BACP or BAC. |
| The EMDR training workshops
are for clinical purposes only and do not qualify the participant
to train others in the practice of the EMDR approach. |

| A Certificate of Attendance
is awarded upon completion of each EMDR workshop. In order to
receive the Certificate, participants are required to attend
the entire training. These trainings are approved by the EMDR
International Association (EMDRIA) and by EMDR-Europe
Association (EMDR-E). |

| Trainings are usually conducted
in North West London. However small in-house trainings can be
arranged at other sites. |
